Migration of the food & beverage site from FuelPHP to WordPress: custom theme, product catalogue management, preservation of existing data.
The custom WordPress theme was built to reproduce the existing design of the FuelPHP site while leveraging WordPress's native capabilities: dynamic menus, a configurable sidebar, a product gallery with lightbox. The catalogue uses custom post types with ACF fields for product specifications.
Migrating the data from the FuelPHP database to WordPress preserved all of the content: product sheets, images, categories and pages. A migration script automated the field mapping and the reorganization of images into the WordPress media library.
