Migrating the food & beverage site to WordPress for autonomous client management

The food company wanted to manage its own site without depending on a provider for every change. Migrating to WordPress gave it full autonomy over its products and news.

The food company depended entirely on a developer for any change to its site. Adding a new product, changing a price or publishing a news item all went through emails to the provider, with turnaround times of several days. This dependence held back the company's commercial responsiveness.

Migrating to WordPress put an end to that dependence. The product catalogue, prices and news are now managed directly by the sales team through a simple interface. Changes go live in minutes rather than days.

What was delivered

The client can now update its products, prices and news entirely on its own from the WordPress interface.

The migration preserved all existing content, ensuring a seamless transition for visitors.

Adding new product ranges no longer requires any technical intervention.

The site's maintenance cost was considerably reduced thanks to the client's autonomy.
